Program Highlights:

This program has a medical nutrition therapy (clinical) emphasis with a plant-based/vegetarian focus.

The internship is a 9-month supervised practice program that is conducted at affiliated hospital, community and food service sites located across the U.S. These rotations consist of 5 months of clinical nutrition, 2 months of foodservice management, and 1 month of community nutrition.

A pre-test is held virtually at the beginning of August, followed by an in-person 3-day orientation at Andrews University mid-August. Then rotations run from the end of August- end of April.

All accepted interns will enroll in a full-time program requiring 4 days per week and will complete at least 1016 supervised practice hours.

The internship can also count towards 12 credits of the MS Nutrition and Wellness degree for those who are dual-enrolled.
